Album Reissues

I got into The Runaways late so I'm really hoping someone puts out all the albums again. I was thinking though, how they would do it? I couldn't figure out a way to do a poll on the board, so I'll just do a write in poll. I'm a stickler, I'd like to have option C, but what would you want more, as far as what's in it?

A. The original coverart, liner notes and liner photos
B. The original coverart and liner photos but new liner notes
C. The original coverart but new liner notes and photos
D. The original coverart and liner notes but new liner photos
E. New cover art but same insides
F. New everything, including the cover and liner notes

I go for C myself just because I never had the original albums and I always thought reissues should at least look the same on the front. Tha's just me tho. Any thoughts?

That's a tough question. I would have to choose G. The original coverart, liner notes and liner photos PLUS new liner notes, photos, picture discs, picture tray inserts and surprise bonus tracks. Just dreaming, I don't want much do I. But seriously, I would take any reissue of 'Waitin For The Night' on CD. [img]graemlins/music.gif[/img]

Great Topic, I'm with Wasted on that one, Choice G 'cuz bonus tracks are a major treat for fans. Black Sabbath did a great job on it when they added the bonus stuff and it gives it that added touch. I'd like them 2 have original artwork plus new liner notes pictures etc. plus have the cd's remastered with bonus tracks.....

Okay, originally, I was leaning toward leaving the album covers as their original design, but after thinking about it... if Edgeplay ever gets released, it's going to hopefully generate a lot of younger Runaways fans. I think the original covers a fine, but they might seem a bit 'dated' to the younger generation. I have seen a lot of photos on various websites and publications that I believe express their image in a much better, exciting and -- I don't know --"rock an roll" sort of way; particularly the photos of them in concert or with their instruments. So, from a marketing stand point, I say update the album covers.
